“Most powerful is he who has himself in his own power.”
Seneca

The journey to the Self begins with an inner choice—
a quiet decision that no one else can witness.
It begins with a step across a threshold only you can see.
You cross thresholds like this every day:
in what you chase and what you avoid,
in the work you face or the distractions you choose,
in the ways you abandon yourself without even noticing.
Most of this happens unconsciously.
We do it asleep.
But this threshold is different.
It demands consciousness.
It demands presence.
It demands that you be awake to yourself.
It demands a sovereign declaration—
and a warrior’s follow-through.
Every part of you—every age, every wound, every hope—stands beside you now, holding its breath.
Will you abandon them again?
Or will you finally lead them home?
The Forge’s Reflection
The first step toward the Self is an inner oath:
“I will no longer abandon myself.”
The Sovereign’s Task
Recall a moment when you abandoned yourself.
Why did you do it?
Where did you learn it?
And how did it turn out?
